Administrator Morkav is the leader of the Khoonda Farming Community. Being not much of a farmer, he uses his “business savvy” to keep himself and the farming community ahead of the rest of the other farming communities on Dantooine.
Administrator Morkav is the leader of the Khoonda Farming Community. Being not much of a farmer, he uses his “business savvy” to keep himself and the farming community ahead of the rest of the other farming communities on Dantooine. Although he is not as well-liked as Galen Frey within the community, he does what he can to sway popular opinion towards himself to keep his office. Since the community has little experience in shrewd marketing as Morkav has (and that Galen refuses repeatedly to take the role as administrator), they allow him to keep his office since they feel they could do no worse.
The community tends to be uneasy with his associations at times. His assistant Murik is a cold and calculating man that says very little while out in public, Morkav also owns an excessive amount of modified B1 and B2 battle droids left over from the Clone Wars era around the Town Hall building. Morkav usually comments that he keeps them around to “protect the community” when threatened. Morkav has also been seen associating with “shifty” spacers at times well, granting them “special audiences” in the Town Hall building.
Popular opinion (when asked) about Morkav by the community tends to think he is a “fake”, the type that will smile shaking your hand while slipping a vibrodagger into your back. He has had questionable actions in the past, but nothing that has outwardly damaged the community as a whole therefore no one really complains.
Morkav is actually a greedy con-artist that scams anyone he can while trying to keep his “posh” position as administrator. If he can’t get your cooperation via manipulation, he will get it by threat of force with his mini-army of droids.
He considers Galen Frey his nemesis as Galen could easily take his leadership position from him due to his “easy” popularity with the community. Although he feels threatened by Galen, he does nothing to provoke him to take the leadership therefore he leaves Galen and his family well alone. However Galen does tend to “take over” the townhall meetings from time to time and Galen tends to inadvertantly thwart his schemes when he “butts into” Morkav’s “town affairs” which annoys Morkav to no end.
Morkav tends to let his assistant Murik to do most of the meager administrative tasks while he seeks to further his wealth from his schemes.
Morkav has it good in Khoonda as long it keeps going as it is however if push comes to shove, he is not afraid to use his droids to force his hand.
Morkav was ousted from power by the heroes after the Battle of Khoonda Plains and was eventually captured to await trial. However, when left alone with the Jedi Kendra, feeling he was a threat, she executed him along with his adviser Murik. Gaz discreetly disposed of the bodies in the mass grave of the farmers that died when Morkav held the community hostage.
